Ingredients
Scale
1 lb ground beef
3 cups cooked white rice (jasmine or basmati)
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
Drain excess grease if needed, then stir in the butter and minced garlic. Let it sizzle for 2 minutes until fragrant.
In an oven-safe skillet or baking dish, layer the cooked rice on the bottom, then evenly spread the garlic butter beef over the top.
Sprinkle cheddar, Parmesan, and cream cheese over the beef layer. Pop under the broiler for 3–5 minutes, or bake at 375°F until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes (if using). Serve hot straight from the pan.
Notes
This dish is perfect for a family dinner and can be made in under 30 minutes.
