Indulge in this decadent Fudgy Brownie Sundae, featuring warm, gooey brownies topped with creamy vanilla ice cream, drizzled with caramel sauce, and garnished with chocolate shavings and fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting
  • Chocolate shavings or curls, for garnish
  • Fresh strawberries, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter with sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until combined into a thick batter.
  4. Pour into pan and smooth out evenly. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  5. Let brownies cool slightly, then cut into squares.
  6. Plate each brownie with scoops of vanilla ice cream. Drizzle with caramel sauce, dust with powdered sugar, sprinkle chocolate curls, and crown with a strawberry.

Notes

  • Best served warm with ice cream starting to melt
  • Add chopped roasted nuts for a crunchy finish
  • Try swapping vanilla ice cream with coffee or coconut for a flavor twist
  • Don’t overbake the brownies, keep them fudgy and moist
  • Use high-quality cocoa powder for deep chocolate flavor
  • Keep caramel warm for easy drizzling just before serving
