  • 2 cups 100% cranberry juice (unsweetened or lightly sweetened)
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced (Honeycrisp or Gala works great!)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate arils
  • 23 cinnamon sticks
  • 34 whole star anise (optional)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • Ice cubes or apple cider ice cubes (for serving)
  • Optional: sparkling water or ginger ale to top off (for a fizzy twist)

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the apple cider, cranberry juice, and pomegranate juice.
  2. Toss in orange slices, apple slices, fresh cranberries, pomegranate arils, cinnamon sticks, and star anise.
  3. Let the punch sit in the fridge for at least 1 hour (or overnight).
  4. Serve over ice in clear glasses.
  5. Garnish with extra cinnamon sticks or orange wheels.

Notes

  • For a sweeter punch, add maple syrup to taste.
  • Chilling overnight enhances the flavor.
