Crispy Shrimp Puff Rolls are a super crunchy snack filled with shrimp and cheese, perfect for parties or as a quick appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 lb medium shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional topping)
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes until juicy and flavorful.
  2. Cut puff pastry into 6 squares. Add shrimp and a sprinkle of mozzarella on one end of each square, then roll tightly into a log.
  3. Place rolls seam-side down on a parchment-lined tray. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  4. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes or until puffed, crispy, and deeply golden.
  5. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • These rolls are great for dipping or eating on their own.
  • Feel free to customize the filling with other ingredients like herbs or spices.
