Easy homemade crab rangoon bites with creamy cheese and crab filling in crispy wonton shells.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup lump crab meat, drained and chopped
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Oil for frying
  • Optional: sweet chili sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  2. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Brush edges with beaten egg and fold into a triangle or star shape.
  3. Press edges firmly to seal and remove air pockets. Keep covered with a damp towel.
  4. Heat oil to 350°F and fry wontons in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve warm with sweet chili sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Make sure the oil is hot enough for crispy results.
  • Work in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • Serve immediately for best texture.
