Crispy cheesy corn balls that everyone will love! Golden on the outside, gooey on the inside — these little bites disappear FAST.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sweet corn kernels (canned & drained or cooked fresh)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/3 cup grated cheddar (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
  • 1/2 cup flour (for coating)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix corn, mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and parsley. Chill 10 minutes if mixture feels soft.
  2. Roll mixture into small balls (about walnut-sized).
  3. Roll each ball in flour → egg → breadcrumbs. Press gently so crumbs stick well.
  4. Heat oil to medium (175–180°C / 350°F). Fry in batches 2–3 minutes until deep golden and crispy.
  5. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and parsley.

Notes

  • Chill before frying = no cheese leaks
  • Air fryer option: 190°C / 375°F for 8–10 min
  • Add chili flakes or jalapeño for heat
