Crispy Butternut Squash Bites are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that combines sweet and spicy flavors. Perfect for fall gatherings!

  • 1 large butternut squash, peeled and cubed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • 1/4 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Toss squash with olive oil, paprika, garlic, onion powder, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Spread on a lined baking sheet.
  2. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
  3. Warm honey in a small saucepan. Add chili flakes and vinegar, then simmer for 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Arrange roasted squash on a platter, drizzle with hot honey, and sprinkle feta and herbs on top.
