- 12 oz rotini or fusilli pasta
- 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into half-moons
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup diced onion (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Add zucchini and cook until tender.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes. Stir in Parmesan until melted.
- Add drained pasta to the skillet and toss with sauce. Use reserved pasta water if needed.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Serve hot with extra Parmesan.

- Use fresh Parmesan for best flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice level.
