A hearty and creamy one-pan dish featuring tortellini and ground beef, perfect for easy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (24 oz) jar tomato pasta sauce
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup water or broth
  • 1 (20 oz) package cheese tortellini
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
  • Sour cream and parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown beef in skillet. Drain. Add onion and garlic. Cook 2–3 mins.
  2. Stir in pasta sauce, spices, and water/broth. Simmer.
  3. Add tortellini. Cover and simmer 7–8 mins, stirring.
  4. Stir in cream and cheese until smooth.
  5. Top with sour cream and parsley.

Notes

  • Use ground turkey or plant-based meat for a lighter version.
  • Add spinach or broccoli for veggies.
  • Serve with crusty bread!
