- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
- Salt for boiling water
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup asparagus tips (blanched or sautéed)
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
- Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Season salmon fillets with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
- Grill or pan-sear salmon for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
- Boil water with salt, and cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta and sautéed asparagus to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
- Place grilled salmon fillets on top of the pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra lemon slices if desired.
Notes
- Make sure not to overcook the salmon to keep it tender.
- Add a splash of white wine to the sauce for extra flavor.
- Use a mix of fresh herbs for an aromatic twist.
