Ingredients
Scale
300g spaghetti
2 chicken breasts, halved and pounded thin
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup cooking cream
Zest of 1 lemon
2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce heat and add butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Add parmesan and stir until melted and the sauce thickens slightly.
Toss in the cooked pasta and coat it evenly with the sauce. Add sliced chicken on top and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Serve hot with extra lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a light cucumber salad.
Add sautéed spinach for a healthy green touch.
Pair with sparkling water infused with lemon and mint for a refreshing finish.
Use freshly grated parmesan for best melting and flavor.
Don’t skip the lemon zest—it adds a burst of citrusy brightness.
For a dairy-free version, use coconut cream and skip the cheese.
