Ingredients
Scale
600 g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons butter (for sauce)
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup cooking cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
Salt and pepper to taste (for sauce)
3 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
Prepare Chicken: Pat chicken pieces dry and season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Sear: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden brown on all sides and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Melt Butter: In the same pan, add butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Deglaze: Pour in chicken broth and scrape up all the rich browned bits from the pan.
Creamy Finish: Stir in cooking cream, oregano, thyme, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer gently until slightly thickened.
Return Chicken: Add the chicken bites back into the sauce.
Coat: Toss well to coat each piece in the creamy herb sauce and simmer for 3–5 minutes.
Garnish: Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley generously before serving.
Notes
Serve with fluffy rice, pasta, or warm bread to soak up the luscious sauce.
A fresh cucumber yogurt dressing with lemon adds a refreshing contrast.
Avoid overcrowding the pan when searing to get a perfect golden crust.
Let the sauce simmer gently to keep it smooth and velvety.
Use light cream or half milk for a lighter version while keeping it creamy.
Pair with sautéed spinach or cauliflower rice for a low-carb option.
