Creamy Herb Chicken Bites are a rich and silky pan-seared indulgence, perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 600 g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons butter (for sauce)
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup cooking cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste (for sauce)
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chicken: Pat chicken pieces dry and season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Sear: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden brown on all sides and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. Melt Butter: In the same pan, add butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Deglaze: Pour in chicken broth and scrape up all the rich browned bits from the pan.
  5. Creamy Finish: Stir in cooking cream, oregano, thyme, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer gently until slightly thickened.
  6. Return Chicken: Add the chicken bites back into the sauce.
  7. Coat: Toss well to coat each piece in the creamy herb sauce and simmer for 3–5 minutes.
  8. Garnish: Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley generously before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with fluffy rice, pasta, or warm bread to soak up the luscious sauce.
  • A fresh cucumber yogurt dressing with lemon adds a refreshing contrast.
  • Avoid overcrowding the pan when searing to get a perfect golden crust.
  • Let the sauce simmer gently to keep it smooth and velvety.
  • Use light cream or half milk for a lighter version while keeping it creamy.
  • Pair with sautéed spinach or cauliflower rice for a low-carb option.
