A delicious creamy garlic spinach chicken recipe featuring golden-seared chicken in a velvety garlic spinach cream sauce.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (plus more for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and chili flakes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until deeply golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Lower heat to medium. Melt butter in the same pan and sauté garlic until fragrant (30 seconds).
  4. Pour in chicken broth and simmer 2 minutes, scraping up all the flavorful browned bits.
  5. Stir in cream and Parmesan. Let sauce gently simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Add spinach and cook until wilted and silky.
  7. Return chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer 2–3 minutes.
  8. Finish with parsley and extra chili flakes for that irresistible pop.

  • Chicken thighs give extra juiciness and flavor
  • Don’t rush the sear—that deep golden crust = flavor
  • Add a splash of lemon at the end to brighten the sauce
