Scale
1 lb small shrimp, peeled, deveined, and patted dry
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
4 thick slices French bread or sourdough
2 tbsp softened butter (for the bread)
Extra parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Toast the bread by spreading softened butter on each slice and baking at 400°F (200°C) for 5–6 minutes until lightly crisp.
Cook the shrimp in a skillet with butter, olive oil, garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper for 2–3 minutes until pink.
Reduce heat, stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and half the mozzarella until smooth. Add chopped parsley.
Spoon the creamy shrimp mixture onto the toasted bread and top with remaining mozzarella.
Bake for 5–7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
