Ingredients
Scale
1½ lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup chicken broth
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Extra Parmesan, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Pat the shrimp dry and season with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until lightly golden, then transfer to a plate.
In the same skillet, sauté the garlic until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir in the Parmesan until the sauce becomes smooth.
Return the shrimp to the skillet and gently toss to coat in the creamy sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then finish with lemon juice.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately over pasta, rice, mashed potatoes, or with crusty bread.
