Ingredients
Scale
4 white fish fillets (cod, haddock, or tilapia)
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1½ cups seasoned breadcrumbs or panko
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Vegetable oil, for frying
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp onion powder
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Season the fish fillets with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning. Dredge each fillet in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat with seasoned breadcrumbs.
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry the fillets for 4–5 minutes per side until deep golden brown and crisp. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, then stir in the shrimp. Cook for 2–3 minutes until pink. Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Simmer for 3–4 minutes, then fold in the chopped parsley.
Spoon the creamy Cajun shrimp into serving bowls and pair with the crispy fish fillets.
