Ingredients
Scale
8 oz penne or fettuccine pasta
1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
1/2 cup lump crab meat (fresh or canned)
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
1/2 red bell pepper, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Salt & black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Optional: Red pepper flakes for extra heat
Instructions
Boil your pasta in salted water until perfectly al dente — it’s the base for this rich comfort meal. Drain and set aside.
Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning and a sprinkle of smoked paprika. Sauté in olive oil for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and juicy, a real crowd-pleasing seafood moment.
In the same pan, add more oil if needed and sauté red bell pepper and garlic until fragrant — this adds depth and creamy pasta perfection.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese. Let it simmer until it thickens into the dreamiest, creamiest sauce. Add a pinch of Cajun spice for that restaurant-style finish.
Add pasta, cooked shrimp, and lump crab meat into the sauce. Toss gently until everything is coated in that bold, creamy goodness. Garnish with parsley and more cheese if you dare!
Notes
For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes.
Feel free to substitute other seafood if desired.
Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
