Golden, buttery, and loaded with crab—this seafood dinner favorite brings serious wow!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined with tails attached
  • 8 oz lump crab meat, drained and picked over
  • ¾ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Butterfly the jumbo shrimp by slicing deeply along the back without cutting completely through. Open them up so the tails curl naturally.
  2. Combine crab meat, panko, Parmesan, mayonnaise, melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay, paprika, parsley, and black pepper for the stuffing.
  3. Arrange shrimp in a baking dish and mound a scoop of crab mixture onto each one.
  4. Bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes, then broil for 1–2 minutes until golden and crisp.
  5. Melt butter with garlic, stir in lemon juice, parsley, and black pepper, then pour over the shrimp.

Notes

  • Use fresh lump crab meat for the best texture.
  • Do not overstuff the shrimp to prevent the filling from falling out.
  • Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
