- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups pumpkin puree
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar (for topping)
- ½ tsp cinnamon (for topping)
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and spices together.
- In another bowl, combine sugars, eggs, pumpkin, oil, milk, and vanilla.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×5 loaf pan and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar topping over it.
- Bake at 350°F for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
