Chewy, buttery, chocolatey, and irresistibly festive Chocolate Chip Sprinkle Cookies, perfect for parties and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 and 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Mix in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in chocolate chunks and sprinkles.
  6. Scoop dough onto baking sheets (about 2 tablespoons per cookie), spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Press a few extra chocolate pieces and sprinkles on top.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden. Centers should look slightly underbaked.
  9. Let cool on pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Chill dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
  • Use a mix of chocolate chunks and mini chips for texture.
  • Add a pinch of flaky sea salt on top before baking for contrast.
