  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups canned pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and all your warming spices.
  2. Mix together granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, pumpkin puree, oil, milk, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  3. Gently fold dry ingredients into wet until just combined and stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 9×5 loaf pan and sprinkle more chocolate chips on top. Bake at 350°F for 55–65 minutes.
  5. Let it cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
