1 cup softened butter
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup white chocolate chips
½ cup thick cherry preserves
Instructions
Make the dough: Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one by one, then vanilla. Whisk flour, baking soda, salt separately. Mix into wet ingredients. Fold in both chocolates.
Stuff & shape: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking tray. Scoop dough, flatten, add cherry filling, cover with another piece of dough, seal edges. Repeat.
Bake: Bake 10–12 minutes until edges turn golden. Let rest 5 minutes before cooling.
Notes
Use thick cherry preserves to avoid leaking.
Freeze teaspoons of cherry filling for 10 minutes for easy stuffing.
