A delicious fusion of classic macaroni and cheese and pizza, this Cheesy Mac and Cheese Pizza is golden, creamy, and outrageously satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-baked pizza crust (12-inch)
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Extra mozzarella and cheddar for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or pizza pan.
  2. Cook elbow macaroni in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add flour and whisk for 1 minute until smooth. Slowly pour in milk, whisking constantly until thickened.
  4. Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.
  5. Add cooked macaroni into cheese sauce and stir to coat.
  6. Spread mac and cheese mixture evenly over the pizza crust. Top with extra cheese.
  7. Bake 10–15 minutes, or until edges are crispy and cheese is golden and bubbling.
  8. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Serve with a drizzle of chili oil or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Pair with a crisp salad for balance.
  • Slice into small squares for party-style finger food.
  • Use a thicker crust to hold all that cheesy goodness.
  • Let pizza rest 5 minutes before slicing for clean cuts.
  • Add steamed broccoli or roasted mushrooms for a healthier twist.
