Ingredients
Scale
500g ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 egg
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 large cabbage, sliced into thick rounds
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
Prepare the cabbage by slicing it into thick rounds, brushing with olive oil, and seasoning with salt and pepper. Roast at 200°C (400°F) for 20 minutes until slightly tender and caramelized.
Mix the ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl to make the patties. Form into thick round patties.
Sear the patties in a pan over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
Assemble by placing the cooked patties on top of the roasted cabbage slices, sprinkle mozzarella generously over each patty, and bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
