1 lb ground beef
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can refrigerated biscuit or pizza dough
4 cups water
¼ cup baking soda
1 egg, beaten
Coarse sea salt
Optional: chopped pickles or onions
Instructions
Brown ground beef in a skillet, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix in shredded cheddar.
Flatten dough pieces, spoon cheeseburger mixture inside, and seal into balls.
Boil water with baking soda, dip each dough ball for 20–30 seconds.
Place on a baking sheet, brush with egg, sprinkle salt, and bake at 400°F for 15–18 minutes.
Serve warm with mustard or ketchup for dipping.
