Ingredients
Scale
1 lb lean ground beef
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or pretzel dough, if available)
¼ cup chopped pickles or jalapeños (optional, for flavor boost)
6 cups water + ¼ cup baking soda (for pretzel bath)
2 tbsp melted butter
Coarse salt (for topping)
Instructions
Brown ground beef in a skillet with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess grease.
Cut dough into 12 equal squares. Add a spoonful of beef and a pinch of cheddar to the center of each. Fold and pinch to seal into a ball.
Bring water and baking soda to a boil. Carefully dip each dough ball for 30 seconds.
Place dipped bombs on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake at 425°F for 12–15 minutes until deep golden brown.
Let cool slightly, then serve.
Notes
Optional pickles or jalapeños add extra flavor.
Use pretzel dough for a more authentic pretzel taste.
