Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp onion powder
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with paprika, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden, then transfer to a baking dish.
In the same skillet, sauté the garlic until fragrant. Stir in the chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, cheddar, and mozzarella, whisking until the sauce becomes rich and velvety.
Pour the cheesy garlic butter sauce over the chicken and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot, pairing with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for 2–3 minutes after baking.
Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
