1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
½ cup plain yogurt
¼ cup molasses
½ cup milk
½ cup soft cream cheese
¼ cup thick caramel or dulce de leche
1 tbsp icing sugar
½ tsp vanilla
⅓ cup warm caramel
Crystallized ginger
Powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan. Whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and spices. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one by one. Mix in yogurt, molasses, and milk. Add dry ingredients until just combined. Bake for 40–45 minutes. Cool fully.
