Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 large apples, sliced into rings
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • Powdered sugar
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Toss apple rings with lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon. Let sit 10 minutes.
  2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into circles slightly larger than the apple rings. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet and prick with a fork.
  3. Stack 3–4 apple rings on each puff pastry base, largest to smallest. Brush apples and pastry with melted butter. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden and tender.
  4. Drizzle warm caramel over each apple tree. Dust with powdered sugar and top with a rosemary sprig.

Notes

  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream
  • Add extra cinnamon for deeper flavor
  • Drizzle salted caramel for contrast
  • Use firm apples like Honeycrisp or Fuji
  • Brush edges with butter for extra shine
  • Add chopped pecans for crunch
