Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs

A bold party appetizer featuring creamy deviled eggs topped with spicy Cajun shrimp.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 12 medium shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 3 tbsp mayo
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning (plus more for topping)
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Hot sauce (for drizzle)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil eggs for 10 minutes, cool in ice water, then peel. Slice in half and remove yolks.
  2. Mash yolks with mayo, mustard, lemon juice, Cajun seasoning, and paprika. Season to taste.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter and toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning. Sauté 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  4. Pipe or spoon yolk filling back into egg whites. Top each one with a seared shrimp.
  5. Drizzle with hot sauce, sprinkle with extra Cajun seasoning and parsley.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to your preferred spice level.
  • Serve immediately for best texture.
