12 oz fettuccine, cooked al dente
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Boil the fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
Toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet, then cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until golden.
Reduce heat and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and lemon juice, whisking until smooth. Add pasta water if needed.
