Golden, gooey, and irresistibly sweet Butterscotch Apple Dessert Rolls that are perfect for fall.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 6 small tortillas or spring roll wrappers
  • 3 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
  • ½ cup brown sugar + ¼ cup cream (for butterscotch sauce)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt butter. Add diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cook 6–8 minutes until tender and caramelized. Cool slightly.
  2. Place apple filling in the center of each tortilla. Roll tightly, tucking edges in. Brush with melted butter.
  3. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 12–15 minutes until golden, or pan-fry until crisp.
  4. Melt butter and brown sugar in a pan. Stir in cream and simmer 2–3 minutes until glossy.
  5. Drizzle the warm rolls generously with butterscotch sauce and top with extra apple chunks.

Notes

  • Serve with vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence
