A crispy and spicy snack idea that serves as a healthy alternative to traditional buffalo wings, perfect for game day or as a meatless appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (or almond flour for low-carb)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened plant milk or water
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup buffalo sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted vegan butter (for mixing into sauce)
  • Optional: chopped green onion & fresh parsley for garnish
  • Ranch or blue cheese dip (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, plant milk, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Toss cauliflower florets in the batter until fully coated.
  3. Place florets in a single layer in your air fryer. Cook at 375°F for 15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  4. Mix buffalo sauce with olive oil or vegan butter, then toss air-fried cauliflower in the sauce until fully coated.
  5. Return to the air fryer for 5–7 more minutes to set the sauce and lock in that craveable crunch. Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley, and serve with ranch or blue cheese dip.

Notes

  • For a low-carb version, use almond flour instead of all-purpose flour.
  • Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to your spice preference.
  • These bites can be served as an appetizer or a main dish.
