- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 3 cups frozen hashbrowns (thawed)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
- Dried oregano or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the breakfast sausage until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a greased baking dish, layer hashbrowns, cooked sausage, dollops of cream cheese, and pour the egg mixture evenly over.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar on top, plus red pepper flakes if desired.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30–35 minutes or until the eggs are fully set and the top is golden bubbly. Garnish with oregano or parsley.
