  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 3 cups frozen hashbrowns (thawed)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Dried oregano or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the breakfast sausage until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a greased baking dish, layer hashbrowns, cooked sausage, dollops of cream cheese, and pour the egg mixture evenly over.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar on top, plus red pepper flakes if desired.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30–35 minutes or until the eggs are fully set and the top is golden bubbly. Garnish with oregano or parsley.
