- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup blueberry preserves or fresh blueberry compote
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar glaze (1/2 cup powdered sugar + 1 tbsp milk)
- Optional: extra lemon zest & crumble topping
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 6 squares. Fold or twist the edges inward slightly to form a border.
- Spoon 1 tbsp of the cream cheese mixture into the center of each square, followed by a spoonful of blueberry preserves.
- Brush pastry edges with egg wash. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Drizzle with powdered sugar glaze and top with fresh lemon zest or crumble if desired.
