Elegant Blue Cheese Stuffed Pears are a fancy appetizer idea that’s surprisingly simple and seriously delicious, perfect for fall entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 oz blue cheese, crumbled
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 tbsp honey (plus extra for drizzling)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Slice pears in half and scoop out the core. Lightly brush with olive oil and place cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  2. Roast pears for 15–20 minutes until soft but still holding their shape.
  3. Mix blue cheese and cream cheese until smooth. Add a drizzle of honey and a pinch of black pepper.
  4. Fill each pear half with the cheese mixture, then top with chopped walnuts or pecans. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs.
  5. Right before serving, drizzle with warm honey.
