A creamy and dreamy dessert featuring layers of ladyfingers, blackberry mixture, and a rich cream filling, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh blackberries (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 pack of ladyfinger biscuits
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mash blackberries with sugar and lemon juice. Let sit 10 minutes to release juices.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. In another large bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream until fully combined.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the coffee and arrange a layer in the bottom of a glass dish or dessert cups.
  5. Spoon half of the blackberry mixture over the ladyfingers. Spread half of the cream mixture on top.
  6. Repeat the layers, ending with the cream. Smooth the top.
  7. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight. Just before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with fresh blackberries and mint.

Notes

  • Use firm, ripe blackberries for best texture.
  • Do not oversoak the ladyfingers to keep the structure balanced.
  • For a vegan version, use coconut cream, vegan cream cheese and egg-free biscuits.
