Beef Pepperoni Pie is the ultimate cheesy comfort food, perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 deep dish pie crust (pre-baked or raw)
  • 1 lb ground beef (lean)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1520 slices pepperoni
  • Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and prepare your deep pie dish by lightly spraying or buttering it.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the ground beef with onions and bell peppers until browned. Drain excess fat and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the bottom of the crust, followed by half the mozzarella. Add the beef mixture on top, then more sauce.
  4. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the beef, then add a generous layer of pepperoni on top.
  5. Bake in the oven for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • For added heat, sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes on top before baking.
  • Feel free to customize with your favorite toppings.
