Crispy, cheesy, juicy and insanely addictive Beef and Cheese Roll-Ups that make the perfect appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 slices sandwich bread, crusts removed
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Olive oil or avocado oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onions until browned. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Flatten bread slices with a rolling pin. Add a spoonful of the beef mixture and some shredded cheese to each slice, then roll tightly and seal the edge.
  3. Dip each roll-up in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry roll-ups until golden brown and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce (cheese sauce, ranch or spicy mayo recommended).

Notes

  • Use day-old bread for easier rolling and firmer texture.
  • Add chopped jalapeños or bell peppers for an extra kick.
  • Bake at 400°F for 12–15 mins if you prefer an oven version over frying.
