A luxurious dish featuring baked lobster tails topped with a creamy garlic cheese sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails, thawed if frozen
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated mozzarella
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Using kitchen shears, cut the lobster shells lengthwise and gently pull the meat upward, resting it on top of the shell.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for about 1 minute, just until fragrant. Add the cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Add mozzarella and Parmesan, stirring until smooth and creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  4. Arrange lobster tails in a baking dish and spoon sauce generously over each one. Bake 12–15 minutes until opaque and bubbling.
  5. Broil 2–3 minutes until golden. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Don’t overbake the lobster
  • Use freshly grated cheese for smooth melting
  • Light cream works for a lighter version
