For the Burger Patties:
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
For the Mushroom Topping:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup cremini or button mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic (finely grated or minced)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
For Assembly:
- 4 brioche buns (toasted)
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Burger Patties:
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently and form into 4 equal patties.
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, adding the Swiss cheese during the last minute to melt.
2️⃣ Cook the Mushrooms:
- In the same skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and sauté for 5-6 minutes until browned.
- Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Season with salt and pepper.
3️⃣ Make the Garlic Sauce:
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
4️⃣ Assemble the Burgers:
- Spread the garlic sauce on the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun. Add lettuce, tomato, the cooked burger patty with melted Swiss cheese, and the sautéed mushrooms. Top with the other half of the bun.
5️⃣ Serve:
