Description

Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Lasagna is the ultimate comfort food for creamy pasta lovers—featuring tender shrimp, rich Alfredo sauce, and cheesy lasagna layers.


Ingredients

9 lasagna noodles, cooked

1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tbsp butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp olive oil

2 cups ricotta cheese

1 egg

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Salt & black pepper, to taste

4 tbsp butter (for Alfredo sauce)

3 tbsp flour

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Salt & pepper to taste


Instructions

1. In a skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and shrimp, cook until pink and tender.

2. Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour for roux. Slowly add cream, garlic powder, salt, pepper, then parmesan. Stir until smooth.

3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper until well blended.

4. Layer Alfredo sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, shrimp, more Alfredo, mozzarella. Repeat and top with mozzarella and parmesan.

5. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake 10-15 more minutes until bubbly and golden. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving to help it set.

Use freshly grated parmesan for better texture and flavor.

This lasagna can be assembled a day ahead for convenient meal planning.
