Description

Honey Garlic Shrimp is a quick and flavorful dish featuring shrimp, smoked sausage, and broccoli, all coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (optional for heat)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned.
  2. Push sausage aside, add butter and shrimp to the same skillet. Sauté until pink and tender.
  3. Quickly steam or blanch broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes, then toss it into the skillet.
  4. In a bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, and sriracha. Pour into skillet and stir everything together.
  5. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot over rice or on its own.
