Succulent Garlic Butter Lobster Tails: A Gourmet Seafood Recipe

  • Total Time: 25 minutes

Description

Imagine making a dish that feels as fancy as it tastes, without needing to be a pro chef. Garlic butter lobster tails are more than just a recipe; they’re a feast for your taste buds. They’re perfect for big celebrations or a simple dinner at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails (fresh or frozen)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp dried parsley
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Lobster Tails:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Use kitchen shears or a sharp knife to carefully cut the top of each lobster shell lengthwise, exposing the meat. Gently pull the lobster meat out and rest it on top of the shell (“piggybacking” the lobster meat).

2️⃣ Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

3️⃣ Cook the Lobster Tails:

  1. Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the lobster meat, ensuring even coverage.

4️⃣ Bake:

  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and firm to the touch. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

5️⃣ Serve:

  1. Remove from the oven and drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the lobster meat.
  2. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot with lemon wedges for a zesty finish.
