Description

Creamy Seafood Lasagna Rolls are a luxurious twist on traditional pasta, filled with succulent shrimp and crab, wrapped in lasagna noodles, and smothered in a rich béchamel sauce.


Ingredients

8 lasagna noodles (cooked al dente)

½ lb shrimp (peeled, deveined, chopped)

½ lb lump crab meat

2 cups whole milk

3 tbsp unsalted butter

3 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 cup Parmesan cheese (divided)

1 cup shredded mozzarella

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 small shallot (finely chopped)

1 tsp lemon zest

2 tbsp chopped parsley

Salt & black pepper to taste

Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

2 tbsp dry white wine (optional)


Instructions

1. Cook the lasagna noodles until al dente and set aside.

2. In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour to create a roux.

3. Gradually whisk in milk to form a smooth béchamel sauce.

4. Add garlic, shallot, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and simmer until thickened.

5. Stir in Parmesan and seafood, along with parsley, zest, and white wine.

6. Spread filling onto each noodle and roll tightly.

7. Place rolls seam-down in a baking dish, cover with remaining sauce.

8. Top with mozzarella and bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.

9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Make sure shrimp are just cooked before baking.

Use chilled béchamel for better roll-up structure.

To freeze, wrap individual rolls tightly and thaw before reheating.

Pairs perfectly with salad or garlic bread.
