Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tbsp butter (unsalted)
1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Rinse shrimp and pat them completely dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Sprinkle in Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until shrimp are pink and slightly crisp on the edges.
4. Add remaining tablespoon of butter and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Toss shrimp to coat evenly in the buttery sauce.
5. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve hot!
Notes
Use fresh garlic for maximum flavor.
Don’t overcook the shrimp—just until pink and curled.
